Rotate your head ... more

Hmm... my neck makes funny noises when I do this new head circle exercise... I think it's time for a massage.

I had a picture of everyone sitting in front of their computers rolling their heads back and forth

Yann -- do them nice and easy. Clicking sounds and funny noises are normal for most people. Don't over-rotate or try to stretch too far. If it hurts at all -- STOP.

Matt -- it is a strange picture isn't it? Luckily this is not a live blog with webcam!

Sue

Matt, I had the same vision. I went a little too far though, "the Exorcist"! Great advice Sue.

John

Hi Sue,

What will this help to correct over time? Do you think it would help things like headaches?

Aaron

Aaron -- mostly it is a muscle relaxation technique. It is possible it would help with headaches over time ... IF they are tension headaches. If you wish, you are welcome to email me privately with specific location(s) and other details and I will offer some recommendations (if they are within my scope of knowledge).

Sue

Please ... everyone ... it is not our goal to practice for the next exorcist movie! Just take it easy and gentle

Looks like we're on our way to splits and headstands. One step at a time.

Sheridan

You are very fortunate Sheridan -- I never ask anyone to do something I cannot demonstrate. And ... I can do neither splits nor handstands.

Sue

I'll never forget my fourth grade teacher telling us that "The Exporcist" was the scariest movie he'd ever seen. Because of that, I wouldn't watch the movie until I was an adult. Funny memory!

I almost go to the floor in splits. Was doing Russian stretching exercises

Tim

So, Tim, I delegate you to write the blog when we get to that level.

Sue

This is GREAT! Thank so much, Sue.
